Photo Frame Promotions

A frame is chosen first by the print size, then by its material. Ours come in the two most common sizes, in acacia, bamboo, black pine, woven rattan and metal, to stand on a piece of furniture or hang on the wall.

Print size first

Prints almost always come out at ten by fifteen or thirteen by eighteen centimeters, and our frames match these two sizes. So check your photo's size before the color of the frame, because an image cropped by hand leaves visible white edges.

Wood, metal and fiber

Acacia and bamboo warm up a light wall and pair well with natural furniture. Black pine draws a crisp outline that makes a black-and-white photo stand out. Metal, black or gold, adds a more graphic touch, and woven rattan softens the whole look. Stick to one material per wall, so attention goes to the images.

Creating a memory wall

First lay the frames flat on the rug to find the arrangement, then transfer it to the wall. Keep an even gap of a few centimeters and align the frames along a common line, top or bottom. On a dresser, lean two frames against the wall and stagger them one in front of the other to add depth.

Frequently asked questions

Which size for a photo taken with a phone?

The ten by fifteen size suits most images taken with a phone. Ask for an uncropped print if you want to keep the whole scene.

Portrait or landscape?

It depends on the image more than the frame: a face calls for portrait, a wide scene calls for landscape. On a wall, mixing both orientations adds rhythm.

How do I care for a wood or rattan frame?

A soft, dry cloth is enough, wiped along the grain. Avoid water and greasy products on raw wood, which mark the surface more than they clean it.
