Measure the way in, not only the room
A piece that fits in the living room may not fit through the door, the stairs or the lift. Note the smallest opening on the way and compare it with the dimensions on the product page.
Table and chairs: space per guest
Allow about 60 cm of table width per guest, and 80 to 90 cm behind a chair so it can be pulled out without hitting the wall.

How do I choose the height of a coffee table?
Aim for a height close to the seat, or slightly below, so you can set down a glass without leaning.
A round or a rectangular table?
The round one slips into a narrow room more easily and brings guests closer. The rectangular one seats more people and can stand against a wall.
