A sofa by day, a real bed by night: our sofa beds are designed so you don't have to choose. Three mechanisms, three uses, and one simple rule: the mattress is what separates an occasional bed from an everyday one.
Express opening, pull-out drawer or fold-down back
The express opening unfolds in one movement, without removing the cushions, onto a 14 cm Dunlopillo mattress: this is the one to choose if you sleep on it regularly. The pull-out drawer slides the bed under the seat and offers the largest sleeping surfaces in the collection. The fold-down back transforms the sofa in a few seconds, for an impromptu night. Several models add a storage compartment: the duvet and pillows stay inside the sofa.
The right bed size
Look at the width of the sleeping area rather than the number of seats. The 140 x 190 cm sleeps two adults like a standard bed, and some models go up to 160 cm. Keep space in front of the sofa: unfolded, a sofa bed extends about 1.90 m into the room.
What to measure first
The back height is around 75 cm, enough to fit under a low window. The real issue is the route: door, hallway, stairwell. Our sofa beds arrive in several packages, and it is the package size, shown on the product page, that you need to compare with your doorways.
Frequently asked questions
Can you sleep on it every night?
Yes, on the express-opening models, fitted with a real 14 cm Dunlopillo mattress with memory foam. The pull-out drawer and fold-down versions are better suited to occasional use.
Is there storage for the duvet?
Several models have a storage compartment under the seat, large enough for a duvet and two pillows. The product page specifies this.
Are the covers removable?
No. Clean with a vacuum cleaner and, for a fresh stain, with a white cloth and soapy water.
