Mael Collection

One design, three configurations: the Mael collection comes as a straight sofa and as a corner sofa, in left- and right-hand versions, with its signature tufted armrests. Upholstery ranges from bouclé to velvet.

Choose the side while facing the sofa

A left-hand corner has its long section on your left when you face the seat; a right-hand corner has it on your right. Mael comes in both directions, leaving you free to work around a door or a large window.

Tufted armrests, and therefore wide ones

Tufting gives the armrest depth and softens the line, but it takes up space: the width of the sofa is not the width of the seat. Check both dimensions on the product page before deciding, especially in a narrow living room. On the plus side, a wide armrest makes a good headrest when you stretch out.

Bouclé or velvet

Bouclé brings texture and instant warmth; it forgives seat marks and blends well with natural tones. Velvet catches the light and holds the trace of a hand, which deepens rich colors. The seat stays the same from one fabric to the other: soft at first, firm over time.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a left-hand and a right-hand corner?

The side is always defined facing the sofa: the long section is on the left for a left-hand corner and on the right for a right-hand corner. The product name specifies the direction.

Does bouclé get dirty faster than velvet?

No, it even shows seat marks less, because its texture breaks up the light. For both fabrics, routine care is done with a vacuum cleaner and a soft brush, following the direction of the pile for velvet.

Is the Mael sofa suitable for a small living room?

The straight model, yes, as long as you measure the width including the armrests. For a corner sofa, keep a clear passage in front of the long section, or the room will feel closed in.
