Thistle Collection

Thistle is chosen for its silhouette before its color: a spiky head, a straight stem, a graphic look that holds its own in a vase. The collection brings together single stems, branches with several globes, gold versions and ready-made bouquets.

Height Before Color

Our stems range from around forty centimeters to nearly ninety. The short sizes sit in a table vase or on an entryway console, while the long stems need a tall vase that holds them upright. The rule that almost always works: the stem rises above the vase by about half its height.

Alone, in a Trio or in a Bouquet

Thistle stands alone beautifully: three stems in a narrow vase are enough to dress a table. In an arrangement, it brings the spiky volume that breaks up the roundness of roses and the suppleness of foliage. The collection's ready-assembled bouquets give you this mix without having to build it yourself.

Natural and Gold

Natural shades, from grayish blue to beige, blend into an understated interior and carry through the whole year. The gold versions lean more toward the cold season and pair well with a warm metal, brass or copper. Mix the two sparingly: one or two gold stems liven up a natural bouquet.

Frequently Asked Questions

What stem height for a coffee table?

Stay under sixty centimeters to keep the view clear from one armchair to the other. Tall stems are better suited to the floor or a tall piece of furniture.

Are the thistle heads rigid?

They reproduce the texture of the flower with a material that stays soft to the touch. So you can spread them apart one by one to open up the bouquet.

How do I dust them?

A feather duster or a blast of cool air from a hair dryer dislodges the dust caught between the spikes. Avoid water, which marks the natural shades.
