Mother's Day Photo Frames

A frame is chosen first by the print size, then by the material around it. Our photo frames cover the standard sizes, from 10 x 15 to 13 x 18, in bamboo, acacia, black pine and metal.

Start with the print size

A 10 x 15 print and a 13 x 18 print don't call for the same frame: if the frame is too large, it leaves a margin the eye notices immediately. The Bali, Natté, Haiku and Canopy models come in both sizes, so you can keep the same material. Boston frames are listed by a single dimension and look good on their own on a piece of furniture.

Light wood, black pine or metal

Bamboo and acacia keep a visible grain and warm up a black-and-white image. Black pine does the opposite: it draws the eye to the photo and stands out clearly against a light wall. The rattan and metal of the Loft model add a contrast of material, where the frame matters as much as the image.

Create a cohesive set

Three frames in the same material and in two different sizes are enough to make a set, on a shelf or on the wall. Keep the spacing even: tight on a piece of furniture, more generous on the wall. As a gift, a single frame with the print already slipped inside speaks for itself.

Frequently asked questions

What size for a photo taken on a phone?

The 10 x 15 suits the vast majority of phone photos. The 13 x 18 showcases a portrait or landscape you want to see from a distance.

How do I clean a wooden frame?

A soft, dry cloth on the wood, a barely damp cloth on the glass, then wipe dry immediately. Water left standing in a corner marks bamboo and acacia alike.

Can I mix several materials?

Yes, as long as one dominates: two light wood frames and just one metal frame, for example. Beyond that, the set reads as clutter.
