Reading an alphabetical listing

The sofas are sorted by model name: Ania, Bliss, Charlie, Mael or Haussmann. The same name therefore appears several times in a row: these are its variants in format, fabric and side.

From two-seaters to panoramic sofas

The number of seats gives the order of magnitude, and the format decides the rest: a straight sofa sits against a wall, a corner sofa structures the room, a panoramic sofa needs a long wall. Measure the available wall length before choosing, then the route into the room, including doors, turns and stairwell. It's the package dimensions, not the sofa's, that you need to compare with this route.

Left-hand or right-hand corner

The side is determined facing the sofa: a right-hand corner has its return on your right when you face it. Most corner models come in both orientations, and the product name specifies which.

Frequently asked questions

What do the centimeters in the name mean?

They give the front width of the model: a corner sofa listed at 260 cm and the same one at 300 cm cover two different wall lengths. When the name includes no measurement, the dimensions are shown on the product page.

How much space should I leave around a corner sofa?

Keep a clear passage between the sofa and the piece of furniture opposite, around sixty centimeters. A corner sofa takes over a walkway, and that is what makes it comfortable or a nuisance day to day.

Which fabric should I choose: bouclé, velvet or woven?

Bouclé adds texture and hides seat marks, velvet plays with the light but shows hand marks, and woven fabric remains the most understated.
