Winter Collection

Winter decorating relies on texture and light more than on color. This collection brings together candles, floral arrangements, wreaths and garlands for the cold season, in frosted tones and metallic finishes.

Candles: a matter of heights

The Stripes family ranges from the very small size to the large models, with taper candles as a separate line. The smallest size comes in a set of four, enough to fill a tray in one go. Three different heights grouped on the same tray hold the eye better than a single candle.

Arrangements sold with their vase

Some artificial orchids come ready-planted, with their vase and bear grass, in 29 and 46 cm. The rest is arranged stem by stem, dahlias for example, on their own or mixed with a root garland. The collection also includes empty vases, among them a large 40 cm model that takes tall stems.

Where to place frosted tones

Frosted tones and metallic effects come alive in the low-angled light of winter. Save them for the spots where that light truly falls: a windowsill, a mirror, a light-colored shelf. On a dark piece of furniture, a root garland with a metallic effect is enough.

Frequently asked questions

How do I dust artificial flowers?

A dry cloth, or a hair dryer set to cool air, is enough to refresh the petals. Avoid water on glittered and snowy finishes, which dull as they dry.

What arrangement height should I choose?

The low version sits below eye level and suits a table where people talk. The tall version is better placed on a console, a sideboard or an entryway piece.

Can these pieces still be used after winter?

Stems, vases and candles carry through the seasons with ease. Hanging decorations and snowflake motifs are best stored away with the holiday decorations.
