French Days Tableware

A table is built in layers: plates first, glasses next, serving pieces last. Our Amsterdam, Oslo, Karlstad and Kyoto sets are complemented by stemmed glasses, bowls, dessert plates and trays.

The full set or the single piece

A dinnerware set brings together pieces of the same design and covers an everyday table without adding anything. Plates and bowls sold in fours rather complement a table that is already set up, or replace a broken piece. The list of pieces is shown on the product page.

Three styles for one table

Amsterdam, Oslo and Karlstad do not look alike, and that is precisely their appeal. Each one sets its own table mood, and the safest approach is to look at the photos side by side. The Kyoto tea set works with any of the three, because it reads as an accessory rather than a set.

Glassware that follows the set

Alba stemmed glasses come in two similar heights, and the difference shows once the table is set: the taller for water, the other for wine. A table looks more polished when all the glasses belong to the same family.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the two Alba glasses?

Their height: one and a half centimeters separate the two models. The taller is reserved for water, the shorter for wine, and nothing stops you from choosing just one of the two.

Can you mix two different sets?

Yes, as long as you keep one common piece from one end of the table to the other, the charger plate or the bowl. The mix reads as a deliberate choice as soon as one shape repeats throughout.

How do you care for plates every day?

Washing in hot water and drying immediately keep the decorations crisp. Avoid abrasive sponges and stacking without protection in an overcrowded cupboard.
