A panoramic sofa is chosen from the living room floor plan, not on impulse: a long seat on one side, a corner return on the other. Our models range from the Myra line to the Livia, Bliss and Swann sofas, from large corner sofas to symmetrical configurations.
The direction of the return
A right-hand or left-hand return is not something to improvise: the side is defined facing the sofa, with its back against the wall. The Myra line comes in all three versions, right-hand corner, left-hand corner and symmetrical, which lets you keep the same design whatever the layout. Check the direction on the product page: it dictates the flow of the whole room.
Measure both walls
Note the length of the wall that will take the seat, then that of the wall for the return, and leave clearance in front to walk through. A panoramic sofa extends into the room and separates the lounge area from an open-plan dining room, provided the space can take it. Also think about the access route, doors and stairwells: it is the package dimension, given on the product page, that you need to compare.
Panoramic or simple corner
In a medium-sized living room, a simple corner sofa leaves more room to move around and is more than enough. The panoramic sofa comes into its own when you need to seat family and friends without adding armchairs. Its profile stays low on most of our models, which avoids blocking the view of the rest of the home.
Frequently asked questions
Right-hand or left-hand corner?
Stand facing the sofa: if the return extends to your right, it is a right-hand corner. The chosen direction appears in the model name and on the product page.
How many people can it seat?
Our configurations range from two to five seats, depending on the length of the seat and of the return. The number of seats is specified on each product page.
Why does the same model appear several times?
Because each configuration has its own product page. The design does not change: it is the direction of the return, the length of the seat or the number of seats that varies.
