premium flowers

Hand-assembled stems in soft fabric, crafted to hold up to a fresh flower at close range. The collection brings together orchids, Casablanca lilies, open roses, calla lilies, dahlias and hydrangeas, sold by the stem.

Choose by height

Stems range from 45 cm for a short hydrangea to 100 cm for a tall orchid. The simplest rule: the flower should rise above the vase by about one and a half times its height, otherwise the arrangement looks squashed.

A single variety, or three at most

Three stems of the same flower in a vase are often enough, especially for a lily or a calla lily, whose line stands on its own. If you mix, keep one dominant flower, one secondary flower and one foliage. Hydrangeas with leaves fill in, open roses add volume.

The touch that makes the difference

A fabric flower is shaped by hand when unpacked: spread the petals one by one and look for a curve rather than a perfect vertical. A fresh flower never grows straight, and that is what the eye checks first.

Frequently asked questions

Should I put water in the vase?

No, and it is best avoided: water stains fabric and weighs down the base of the stems. An opaque vase, or one filled with decorative pebbles, solves the question of transparency.

Can a stem be shortened?

Generally yes, from the bottom and a little at a time, stepping back to judge the balance at each stage. Remove any leaves that would end up below the rim of the vase.

How do I care for these flowers?

Dust with a feather duster, petal by petal for the most open designs. Keep them away from a south-facing window, as direct light eventually fades the colors.
