Nooma Collection

Nooma is a family of modules that combine: a straight sofa, corner pieces on the left as well as the right, an armchair and an ottoman with the same curves. You design the shape of your living room, from the compact three-seater to the large panoramic configuration.

Start from the room, not the sofa

First measure the longest wall, then the walkway that will remain in front of the seating. A 194 cm three-seater fits in a city living room, a corner configuration needs two free walls, a panoramic one a truly wide room.

Left or right corner

The side is determined facing the sofa, standing in the room: if the long section extends to your left, it is a left corner. Nooma comes in both directions, as a single corner and as a large corner.

The armchair and ottoman for fine-tuning

The ottoman extends a seat into an improvised chaise longue, or serves as a leg rest when the room does not allow a full corner. The armchair echoes the same curves and closes off a seating area facing the sofa.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a module and a corner sofa?

A corner sofa is a complete configuration, described by number of seats. A module is a single piece, corner or not, that completes a configuration. The dimensions of each are listed on its product page.

How many seats should you plan for?

Start from the number of people sitting together on an ordinary evening, not the maximum on a party day. A four- to five-seater suits most living rooms; beyond that, the length of the wall decides.

Can the configuration be placed in the middle of the living room?

Yes, and that is often the advantage of a modular set: it separates the lounge area from the rest of the room. In that case, consider the back of the sofa, which becomes visible, and leave a real walkway behind the seating.
