The number of seats is decided before the material and before the color. This selection ranges from two-seater sofas to large corner compositions, with the poufs that complete them, in bouclé, velvet and textured woven fabric.
Seats are counted at the seat
A sofa advertised for three people often seats two comfortably: two adults side by side easily take up that width, and a family watching a movie benefits from one extra seat. Our models range from two to five seats, with corner versions for the longest rooms.
The corner and its side
A corner sofa is chosen as left-hand or right-hand, the side being determined when you face the sofa. The left-hand corner Cooper thus places its long section on your left and leaves the walkway on the right. Place the corner along the most open wall, never in front of a door.
The pouf, the finishing piece
A pouf makes up for what a straight sofa does not offer: stretched-out legs, extra seating, a base for a tray. The Bari comes as both a sofa and a pouf, keeping the same material from one piece to the other.
Frequently asked questions
Two-seater or three-seater in a small living room?
Measure the available wall, then subtract the clearance you want to keep at each end. If it is tight, a two-seater and a pouf leave more room to move around.
Does velvet mark more than bouclé?
Velvet holds the trace of hands and of sitting: it is part of its look and fades with a pass of the brush. Bouclé, being more irregular, hides these marks on its own.
Can you pair a sofa and a pouf in different shades?
Yes, as long as you stay within the same family of tones and keep a single dominant material. A pouf darker than the sofa works better than the reverse.
