Mother's Day Textiles

A cushion cover is chosen by the size of the cushion it dresses, a table runner by the length of the table it crosses. Our textiles bring together cushion covers, filled cushions and table runners, in solids as well as patterns.

The Cover, Then the Filling

A cover is not chosen on its own: it is sized to the cushion insert you already have, otherwise the fabric gapes at the corners. If you have no cushion to dress, the Cortone is a complete cushion, ready to use as is. Changing the cover remains the simplest way to give a sofa a fresh look.

Pattern and Solid

The Flowers, Diamond and Swan models feature a design that can be seen from afar: one is enough on a sofa, two if the room is large. Around it, plain fabrics give the eye a rest and let the pattern work on its own, even in an already busy setting. Pick up a color from the pattern in the neighboring fabric and the whole look comes together effortlessly.

The Table Runner, How to Use It

A table runner is centered lengthwise and leaves room for place settings on each side. The Ginger and Flowers models dress a raw wood table without hiding it, and replace the tablecloth for a simple meal. On a round table, lay it across the diameter and let it hang down equally on each side.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you find the right size?

Measure the cushion insert flat, from seam to seam, and compare this measurement with the size shown on the product page. A cover just slightly smaller than the cushion gives a taut finish.

How do you care for a cushion cover?

Remove the filling before any wash and wash the cover alone, at a low temperature. Ironing on the reverse side avoids leaving a shine on patterned fabric.

How many cushions on a sofa?

Three on a straight sofa, five on a corner sofa, keeping an odd number. Mixing two sizes works better than mixing two bold patterns.
