Christmas Trees

From a 150 cm tree to the large 320 cm format, unlit or pre-lit, ready-decorated or in natural wood: choose by the height available first, then by the look.

Measure the ceiling, then the footprint

A tree is not chosen at the exact height of the ceiling: you need room for the tip and the stand, and the decoration takes a few more centimetres. A 180 cm model fits a standard living room. The 250 and 320 cm trees need a high-ceilinged room or an open landing, and floor space to clear before unpacking.

Unlit, pre-lit, decorated or wooden

The Sam comes unlit or pre-lit, up to 320 cm; the pre-lit Fluffy runs from 150 to 300 cm. The small ready-decorated trees of 60 and 90 cm sit on a console or sideboard, ready as soon as they come out of the box. The Natura wooden tree takes the graphic route: it sits on a console as a second tree.

Fluff the branches, then store them

When unpacking, spread the branches one by one, from the trunk to the tip and from the bottom up: it is this step, not the height, that gives the tree its fullness. After the holidays, fold them back the same way, towards the trunk. A dry, temperate place keeps the foliage in shape from one season to the next.

Frequently asked questions

Is a pre-lit tree decorated differently?

Its lights are already spread through the foliage, so there is no need to wind a light garland around it. Keep the decoration to baubles and hanging ornaments, set slightly back from the points of light.

How do I straighten a leaning tree?

First check that the stand is fully opened and sitting flat. On a thick rug, slip a thin board under the stand to bring it back upright.

Do I need a tree collar?

The metal stand stays visible under the low branches. A natural fibre collar, from 65 to 90 cm in diameter, hides it and finishes the display at the base.
