The Cooper sofa plays on curves and deep seating: a sculptural corner sofa that becomes the center of gravity in a large living room. It comes in left-hand and right-hand corner versions, in textured materials.
Deep seating invites you to sink in rather than sit upright: you settle in for a whole evening rather than a quick coffee. If you're on the shorter side, a back cushion reduces the usable depth without changing anything about the sofa's lines. Note the seat depth on the product page and compare it with that of your current sofa: that difference is what changes the way you sit.
Set against two walls, the corner sofa frees up the whole center of the room and opens up circulation. Placed as an island, with its back to the walkway, it defines a living area within a large space and separates the living room from the dining room. In that case, leave a passage of at least sixty centimeters behind the backrest.
Stand facing the sofa: on a right-hand corner, the long section extends to your right. Check this direction on your room's floor plan before choosing, as it determines what will be in front of you, the window or the screen. Both directions are available in the Cooper collection.
Measure the two walls concerned and keep a clear passage in front of the seat. Also compare the width of your door and hallway with the dimensions given on the product page.
A vacuum cleaner on low power is enough for everyday dust. A fresh stain can be blotted with a damp white cloth, from the edge toward the center, without rubbing the weave.
Each finish has its own product page. The model and the direction of the corner stay the same, only the material or color of the upholstery changes.
