Livia Collection

The Livia collection carries the same curved line from the straight sofa to the large panoramic sectional, in velvet as well as bouclé. The corner models come in left-hand and right-hand versions, and some open into a bed.

Format above all else

A straight sofa fits against a wall and keeps the walkway clear. A corner model defines a living room area and often acts as a divider between the living space and the passageway. The panoramic, being longer, needs a long stretch of wall: measure it before deciding on the material.

Left or right, how to read the side

The side of the corner is always read facing the sofa, standing in front of the seat: on a left-hand corner, the long part extends to your left. In the Livia collection, most models come in both directions. Place this long part on the most open side of the room, never in front of a door or a radiator.

Velvet, bouclé and light

Velvet reflects light and holds the trace of a hand, which creates that play of shades on the seat. Bouclé adds texture and is more forgiving of everyday marks. Both can be dusted with a vacuum cleaner on low power, and a fresh stain can be blotted with a white cloth without rubbing the weave.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a corner sofa and a panoramic sofa?

The corner sofa forms an L, with a long part on one side only. The panoramic adds a return on each side or a much greater length, so it takes up more wall space.

Does velvet keep marks from sitting?

The shades appear because the pile lies in one direction or the other. A sweep of the hand or a soft brush in the direction of the pile erases them.

Why do several sofas bear the name Livia?

Each product page corresponds to a version: the size, upholstery or color changes from one to the next. Compare the stated width before choosing.
